 Transcendence

Hallelujia Hallelujia!!! TRANSCENDENCE finally resurfaces from the recording studio with TWO NEW ALBUMS!!! And they are asking fans and friends to help choose the first singles!!

As many of you know, the group has been holed up without a break for the last five months in the recording studio finishing their newest CD, "All Your Heroes Become Villains", an intense labor of love that took almost two years to complete.

Not only did they finish that one, but they tracked and finished another tasty full-length release as well, which is being called "The Great Mistake." When the producer that was recording the group and mixing the "All Your Heroes" CD in Studio B would leave for the night, the group would grab an engineer and head into Studio A where they tracked 13 more songs into the early morning hours.

While the "All Your Heroes" CD is on the deep dark heavy moody and conceptual side, "The Great Mistake" CD is more of a sweet simple catchy sweaty garage-rock and power-pop morsel that tastes like a mouthful of Skittels. The band has never sounded more lively rocking and tasty. For a moment it would appear, it seems they put their eclectic experimental agenda aside, picked up their instruments, and just rocked the house, recording most of the songs live as a five-piece band.

In fact, what you hear exclusively on their purevolume.com page are "all faders up, live in the studio" versions of the songs that have not been mixed yet. The band is currently in talks with larger record labels about releasing the CD, so there is no official release date yet to announce, but they wanted to get the 'rough mixes' out so fans could get an advance listen.

In the meantime, YOU can play an active role in helping the band decide what the first single from both the new albums will be. The band has posted four new songs from the "All Your Heroes" CD to their MySpace page and five new songs from "The Great Mistake" CD to their purevolume.com page -- All potential singles.

Simply listen to the songs from each album, and tell us what you think the hottest track is. OR, what your FAVORITE is. Post a comment or send the band a message or just come back each day to listen to your favorite song.

[We will be able to tell just by the song with the "most listens."] The band and its label will then be able to get valuable feedback as to what might be the best track to release to radio and internet radio stations first to best represent the new discs. Enjoy the new tunage, and as always the band thanks you for your love and support.
